Good cyber security is good business
Last year there were an estimated 2.4m instances of cybercrimes aimed at UK businesses. And it is being reported that cyber security is dropping down the priority list for many organisations in light of the difficult economic climate1.
At Cheetah Transformation, we continue to prioritise cyber security. Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications are awarded by the NCSC, which provides advice and support for the public and private sectors on how to avoid computer security threats.
The next step on our journey to future-proof our cyber security
We are not resting on our laurels; you can never relax with cyber security!
Our next undertaking is ISO27001 accreditation, the internationally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet.
The ISO27001 standard provides companies of any size and from all sectors with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving their information security management systems.
Conformity with ISO27001 means that a business or organisation has put a system in place to manage risks related to the security of data owned or handled by the company, and that this system respects all the best practices and principles enshrined in this International Standard.
Our grateful thanks and admiration go to Tim Saunders, Senior Solution Architect, and Gary Thornton, Operations Director, for the dedication and work they put into keeping Cheetah Transformation and all of our clients digitally safe.
If you have any questions about Cheetah Transformation’s Cyber Essentials or our ISO27001 journey, please contact us.
Our certifications can be independently verified on the UK Government NCSC website.
